We had a lovely stay at Tenza Hotel & Skyspa with our 5-year-olds. The Japanese bath spa was a hit, and my kids loved the complimentary ice cream and origami paper upon arrival! The quiet location near Tanukikoji was perfect for unwinding after exploring landmarks like the Sapporo Clock Tower and Nakajima Park. While the breakfast lacked variety, everything was tasty, and the rooms were cozy enough for our family needs.

staying at the tenza was a pleasant experience. my queen room was cozy and came with all the necessary amenities. it was convenient to have free laundry facilities on every third floor. i really appreciated the ability to check the breakfast room and onsen's busyness through scanning a barcode. breakfast itself was enjoyable with a good selection of both western and japanese dishes, although vegans might find it a bit limited. the hotel is located just a short walk from odori park and has a fantastic vegan restaurant nearby.
Location was average and a bit far from main attractions. 😕.

I had a great stay! The location is super convenient, just a short stroll to Odori Park and Susukino, with plenty of restaurants nearby. The room was spacious for our group, and I loved the breakfast buffet-so many delicious options, especially the soup curry! The staff were friendly and eager to help, which made the experience even better.
There were a few downsides. The shower setup was a bit frustrating since the rack is behind the shower and left our clothes wet. Plus, it would be nice to have more options for room cleaning rather than just a do not disturb sign. And, the spa could use better maintenance; the hot pool wasn’t the cleanest by evening.

close proximity to Odori Park, nearby Tanukikoji Shopping Street, free laundry facilities
The cleaning policy could use improvement with more options !!! Instead of just a 'do not disturb' sign, why not offer choices like trash pickup or towel replacement? The spa also needs better maintenance. The hot pool water gets dirty at night!!!
